Primary typography

Baloo is the primary font we use for titles and subtitles. PF Beau Sans Pro has a rounded character that ties in well with the logo. It’s lively, social, and accessible. Baloo is a perfect match with the arches and shapes from the symbol on the logo, which creates a contemporary, modern Bebat feel, without sacrificing legibility, even when the font size is small.

Custom line spacing

For headlines in Baloo, we apply custom line spacing equivalent to 2% less than the font size.

Body text must also be given enough space. Use line spacing that is at least 30% greater than the font size, i.e. if the font size is 30 pt, the line spacing should be at least 39 pt (30 x 1.3).

Back-up font

Baloo is altijd de eerste keuze betreft fonts. Echter is het niet altijd mogelijk om deze toe te passen door technische restricties op bepaalde applicaties en toepassingen. In dat geval dient het websafe-font Verdana gebruikt te worden, zowel voor titels als voor body-tekst. Deze is zowel beschikbaar in bold als in regular.
